Gaining Weight

Visited my doctor today and was told that I had gained about 3.5kgs which is good for 24 weeks!
Still no sign of my Pumpkin Patch delivery, all I want is a good pair of JEANS! I can't find any anywhere.
Made quite a large purchase today of.. cloth nappies from Baby Beehinds, they are having a very little sale so I thought I'd buy some nappies. Will probably use Huggies Newborn for the first couple of weeks but will hopefully move onto cloth nappies.
Purchased:
1 x Small AIO in Marine Green
1 x Medium AIO in Marine Green
1 x Large AIO in Marine Green
1 x Fitted HEMP Nappy (One Size) in Natural (I liked the Rainbow Trim better but they had sold out)
1 x Fitted BAMBOO Nappy (One Size) in Deep Twilight
1 x Small PUL Nappy Cover in Deep Twilight
1 x Medium PUL Nappy Cover in Marine Green
1 x Large PUL Nappy Cover in Marine Green
1 x Medium Wool Nappy Cover in Marine Green
I am so excited!! I want to use cloth nappies because they are better for baby bums, the environment and saves money but they are so cute, I could end up spending more money on cloth nappies than disposables.
Will post pictures of the nappies when I receive them!

Pumpkin Patch Delivery

I bought from these guys about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received my package! Maybe I'm just impatient but every other time I buy from a website, delivery is pretty fast...5 days max.

I love MARS bars! I'm going to have one for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I dislike the name..

Hunter

I didn't even know that this was a real name? But then realised that Dr Taylor (something) from the Bold and the Beautiful is called Hunter in real life.

A very unusual name but not my cup of tea.

Generation Wonder Dolls

I found the most cutest dolls on the internet yesterday! They are Fair Trade dolls and from an online shop called Generation Wonder.... http://www.generationwonder.com/generationwonder/catalogue.aspx?item_id=196&action=viewitem

This blurb directly relates to the little dolls:

" We support this story because... These wooden products from Lanka Kade are handmade by seven family based enterprises in Sri Lanka. Each business is independent and supplies direct to Lanka Kade. Lanka Kade does not use middlemen, nor does it pay commissions thus enabling the suppliers to receive a fair and full price for their products. Lanka Kade work closely to maintain, improve, and update each supplier’s working practices and understanding of fair trade. Lanka Kade is currently assisting three of its suppliers with long term interest free loans used for the development of their businesses.
In return, the suppliers are expected to maintain a safe and pleasant working environment, equal opportunities, good rates of pay, prompt payment for employees and a quality product at a fair price.

Children are not involved at any stage of the production of items for Lanka Kade. Lanka Kade (UK) Ltd have been approved by BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Shops) since 2001 as a fair trade supplier."

I love them! I want a whole collection, I might start with the little Latin girl.

Wind

For the past couple of weeks I thought I was very windy but it's actually the baby moving around and punching and kicking me from the inside. I've noticed that she likes to punch and kick when I drink something cold, when I am sleeping, when I have just finished up at the bathroom and when I listen to ABC Classical FM. I don't think she likes 96.9 FM. I might start listening to more of my Carole King albums!!!! and Coldplay, who can resist the voice of Chris Martin.

Pumpkin Patch

I haven't blogged in ages, I tend to get lazy with blogging.

Anyway, I am getting fatter, can't fit into my old jeans anymore or any of my other pants, so I've been wearing these really comfy pants I bought from K-Mart in a bigger size than usual. I don't like maternity clothes cos they are usually really ugly and expensive but ugly is the main reason and you can only wear them whilst you are pregnant. Anyway I bought some maternity jeans from Pumpkin Patch for $9.99 what a bargain (bought online), I hope they fit, if not now, I am sure they will fit eventually. Also bought another pair of linen pants, a skirt and a top, all for $47! Hope they deliver to me really soon.

I wanted to buy a Playskool Gloworm today from Big W, they look so cute and it was only $29, but decided against it when I actually saw it. I thought it was a whole lot bigger and the lullabies are short and boring.

But saw lots of cute toys from the Oxfam store! I wanted to buy this big stuffed turtle, it's made in India for Oxfam. So bright and colourful! But didn't cos I didn't want to carry it around the shops, maybe next week.

My favourite eatery "Bokkemon" closed down, am so sad cos I really wanted to eat sashimi and sushi after July! There is a new Japanese eatery there now, maybe it's the same place but different name? I hope so!

Aldi had a baby sale last week, my parents bought me some toys and some little baby clothes from there! They are so cute and pretty cheap.

Easter soon!
